In recent years, child and teen suicide has become a worrying phenomenon. In fact, it is said to be the third leading cause of death for 15-year-olds.
It’s also thought that at least 25 attempts are made for every completed teen suicide.
However, in the past few years, we have seen children much younger tragically taking their own lives.
In April 2017, 12-year-old Jessica Scatterson killed herself after allegedly being bullied.
