Golda Schultz Soprano

South African soprano Golda Schultz lit up the 2020 BBC Last Night of the Proms with a showcase of Mozart, Strauss, songs from musicals and the evening’s traditional anthems. A journalism graduate, she studied voice in Cape Town and at New York’s Juilliard School before moving to Munich to sing with Bayerische Staatsoper. In December she performs with the company as Agathe in Weber’s Der Freischütz .
