100 Jenny Morrison

A year ago, Jenny and her PM husband were riding high on an economic uptick and a fresh re-election. Since then, the country has been ravaged by bushfires, devastated by a scary new pandemic and plunged into its first recession in decades. Add being locked down at the Lodge with ScoMo and Jen has truly been an example to us all.

99 Kerri-Anne Kennerley

It’s been a rollercoaster year for Kerri-Anne, who was axed from Channel 10 amid a wave of high-profile firings as a result of budget cuts. With her increasingly right-wing stances on Studio 10 and blacklisting from The Project, is a primetime presenting role on Sky News the logical next step for KAK?

98 Dezi Madafferi & Penny Kersiotis

Greek-Australian cousins Dezi and Penny made history as the inaugural winners of the shitfest that was Plate of Origin. As Team Greece they pocketed $100,000 thanks in part to their legendary Galaktouboutrio. Sadly, not even Yiayia’s pita bread could save the show, which was regularly beaten in the ratings by the ABC and SBS. Given the low ratings, Dez and Pen may remain the only winners of the show.

97 Anastasia Palaszczuk

In a year in which the nation’s premiers have grappled with powers and responsibilities not considered since federation, the Queensland Premier is leading the way. Thanks to the state’s tough border lockdowns, she’s kept COVID-19 cases low and her approval ratings high. As a result, QLDers have enjoyed more relaxed restrictions and even managed to pinch the AFL Grand Final from Victoria for the first time since its founding in 1899.

96 Gladys Berejiklian

While questions remained unanswered regarding her role in letting thousands of Ruby Princess passengers disembark without quarantining in March, the NSW Premier and her team have managed to keep COVID-19 cases much lower than neighbouring Victoria. Although we’re hardly out of the woods yet, Gladys has proved herself a leader with guts who is not afraid of making an unpopular decision to ensure the health and safety of NSW.

95 Dr Kerry Chant

When a global pandemic strikes, Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant is the woman to trust. It’s through the tireless efforts of experts like her that the outbreak of COVID-19 in Australia hasn’t reached the devastation seen in other parts of the globe. So when we’re all back outside safely enjoying ourselves this summer, raise your glass to Dr KC.

94 Connie Crayden

This year’s Married At First Sight was as contentious and poorly-matched as ever, making us wonder just where did Channel 9 find their “experts”. Still, the panel did manage to introduce us to the only sane cast member in Connie. While she didn’t find everlasting love the fan-favourite has gained a not-too-shabby 120K following on Instagram since leaving the experiment.

93 Ariarne Lepine

After making her MAXIM debut in a stunning shoot last month, 20-year-old Ariarne has the world at her feet, including a rapidly growing online following. In the latest sign that big things are in store for the Sydney beauty, she recently signed with IMG models – the super agency who reps everyone from Miranda Kerr to the Hadid sisters.

92 Dannii Minogue

In a year of global
