‘I have spent a lot of my life trying to please everyone around me. I had to learn the hard way to become my own person’
Surrounded by open countryside and its own lush green gardens, Olympian Victoria Pendleton’s Oxfordshire home is the perfect haven for someone who loves the great outdoors.
As she exclusively invites HELLO! to the stunning house, the two-time gold medallist, who celebrated her 40th birthday on 24 September, reveals she has used the months since lockdown to have “a good sort out”.
“It gave me time to try to Marie Kondo my life: Does this bring me joy and if not, get rid of it,’” says Victoria, quoting the lifestyle organisation expert. “I had a big clear-out and now everything feels really tidy and organised.”
It’s not just on a practical level that Victoria is feeling on top of things.
