Starscope for Today’s Living

Welcome to 2021! The new year gets off to a great start, with Jupiter and Saturn loosely conjunct in Aquarius. These two powerful planets are conjunct only every 20 years. This rather rare alignment produces a change of generations. During this Jupiter and Saturn conjunction you can make good decisions, especially about matters represented by the sector of your chart holding Aquarius. You have even more support from Mercury, which is in Aquarius from January 8 to March 15; the Sun is there from January 19 to February 18.

Mars spends the first few days in its home sign of Aries. On January 6, it moves into Taurus, where the planet will remain until early March. Your attention is on several needs and issues in January, as the mental planet, Mercury, visits Capricorn and Aquarius. Mercury turns retrograde on January 30, and continues in that direction for the following three weeks. If you plan to travel during that time, be sure to finalize all the arrangements before Mercury turns retrograde.

To learn more about what the planets’ movements may mean for you, read the forecast for your Sun sign. If you know your rising sign, read that section also, to obtain a more complete forecast.
