WHO DO WE SEE AT CHRISTMAS?
Q Ever since my two children married and had children of their own we’ve managed to divide up Christmas between the various families. This year we’ve got a problem. My elderly parents live a three-hour drive away and since my dad is vulnerable, they’re shielding. We’ve been to see them – through the window at first and then by meeting in their garden. But now with Christmas coming up, my mother has been insisting we should all go to their house for dinner. I’m worried for their health. How can we turn her down without her being hurt?
