The cameras that went to war

Although my main field of writing interest centres on classic film cameras, I have been known to write about Victorian ingenuity, London landmarks and even 1950s science fiction for a publisher called Pen and Sword Books. This publisher’s big interest, however, is in military history. So it came as no surprise when a commissioning editor asked me to consider combining my interest with theirs to write a book on cameras used in times of war.
