Metal Shark’s cool cat hits the water

The first 48-metre aluminium catamaran explorer yacht by US builder Metal Shark has been launched. Built on an Incat Crowther hull form, the cat, named Magnet, has three decks and a range of 11,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots. “I can travel quickly to faraway places, and everyone on board can enjoy the adventure,” says owner George Wallner. metalsharkboats.com
