The owner of this house with a difference,) recalls the many hours he and the owner had spent on the premises in order to find the perfect spot for the impressive structure. The house had to be an intimate and romantic retreat for him and his soul mate; a place they could escape to after a hectic week (both are in the legal profession). Now, surrounded by nothing but nature, they have total privacy to enjoy the view of their own pinot vineyard and a small arboretum they had cultivated. The large stoep is completely sheltered against the wind and offers a splendid view over the valley. This is a place where one can peacefully relax and listen to the calm silence. And if you’re lucky, you might just spot a grysbok grazing not far from the house.
