Whitaker stars as Nations Cup hero

JACK WHITAKER delivered consistent form in the final week of this tour, partnering Valmy De La Lande to a double clear in the Nations Cup and finishing best of the British with a fifth in the 1.50m grand prix.

The performance indicated an increasingly solid partnership between the 19-year-old and his father Michael’s 11-year-old Selle Frangais, whom he started competing this summer.
