A NEW PASSION

I learned to cross stitch over 20 years ago and loved it, but life got busy and I set my stitching aside until an impulsive purchase of your magazine about two years ago led to a new passion. When lockdown began, I was excited about all the extra stitching time ahead, but I actually found it difficult to concentrate. Not to be put off, I went through my issues of WOXS and sticky-tabbed the projects I was most drawn to.

I decided to start small with projects that I could give away to family and friends. What a joy Furry Tales has brought me and, in turn, my loved ones! I have for the first time tried stitching with variegated thread, which I’ve had in my stash for a while but didn’t know what to do with. I’ve even attempted to customise some of the designs. Thank you to the team and designers for your help and inspiration.
