A Year in Reading: Kathy Wang

My 2020 started off great, because I was finally going to have both my children enrolled in some kind of school, including free (!!) albeit half-day kindergarten. This point had been what I was steadily “working” toward the last five years; anytime I was in the midst of some childcare crisis, people would assure me that “one day they’ll be in school.” I was editing my second novel and getting it ready to submit to my editor.
