I love early mornings!” said no sane person ever! However, it’s the name of the game if you have a long road ahead of you. At least the prospect of driving the long-awaited updated Hilux Legend made the early morning less dreadful. Heading out to the Black Leopard Mountain Lodge in Lydenburg, we had mostly highway ahead of us and a distance of around 345km to cover.
While not the most interesting of roads, it did prove to be the perfect opportunity for our passenger to test out the comfortable and insulated cabin with a power nap. She awoke, refreshed, just outside Belfast, in Mpumalanga, determined to convince us that the cabin is now longer as she was way more comfortable than in the previous model! While this may not be the case, the improved suspension certainly rocked her back to sleep in the blink of an eye.
