Dutch Dumper
The prototype of the 2.65m wide, 3.17m high and 5.60m long vehicle first broke cover at the country’s TKD construction show in 2016. Assembled at a facility in Waddinxveen, south of Rotterdam, the machine stamped with serial number one was delivered to a Dutch earthworks contractor.
All steel fabrications, including the oil and diesel tanks, chassis, cab, and skip, were outsourced. With CE-approval, new models will be powered by Stage V engines. It remains to be seen whether it will ever see the light of day, but a smaller 12-tonne Dutch Dumper is on the drawing board. The exact skip size remains under wraps, but the company is talking about a capacity of around 10 tonnes.
