LEWIS IS OFFICIALLY THE GREATEST F1 DRIVER EVER

Can we just take a moment to say how much we love Lewis Hamilton? 2020 was a pretty turbulent year for fairly obvious reasons, with the good news generally outweighed by the bad, but the fact that Lewis has done what he’s done is more than enough for us to be able to send the year off with a cheery wave and a smile.

We’ve been following the champ’s career closely since his rookie F1 season back in 2007, when he was partnered up with defending World Champion Fernando Alonso, immediately proving that he could cut it among the big boys… but little did we suspect back then that Lewis’s career would follow such an incredible trajectory. He won the Drivers’ World Championship for the first time in 2008, and then again in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, and now that he’s won the 2020 Championship he’s equalled Michael Schumacher’s record of taking the title seven times.
