She solved her own murder

Bright, fun-loving and adventurous, Ciara Glennon lived life to the full.

Born to Irish parents, she’d moved to Perth, Australia, with her family as a child.

She’d worked hard at school, learning Japanese and going on to study Law at university.

In 1997, Ciara took a year off from her job at a law firm to travel overseas, before returning to her family home.

Two weeks later, on 14 March, Ciara, 27, celebrated St Patrick’s Day with colleagues at the Continental Hotel in Claremont, an upmarket Perth suburb.
