Astrology for The New Age

Welcome to March! In the days of my perhaps misspent youth, March often brought (at least to Massachusetts!) piles and piles of snow, the which yours truly had to shovel off of a slightly-long, still faintly country, driveway. And it often turned out to be rather wet snow at that! No doubt this improved my physical fitness, but, as I recall, I felt convinced that I had better things to do – unless, that is, the snow got deep enough that my friends and I could build snow forts in the humongous piles of shoveled snow.

These days, March seems to bring comparatively balmy weather, often warm enough for yours truly, with his snow-shoveling days not entirely over, to plant spinach and such in the garden. Note, that, what with climate change and all, many of March’s snows, at least in Colorado, have turned into rain (or, too often for my bike-riding tastes, freezing rain), and when they do still manifest as snow, it has enough water in it to remind an older fellow of his days of possibly misspent youth in humid and cloudy old New England. Anyway, welcome to March.
