Family matters

It’s been almost a month since Jack (Vusi Kunene) found himself at the wrong end of a gun when an unknown assailant attempted to assassinate him. Bleeding out on an apartment floor and fighting for his life, things didn’t look too good for our favourite villain. Fortunately, he pulled through. But Vusi says that his character is far from okay following the shooting. “He’s not doing very well. He has nightmares,” reveals the actor.

While he has physically recovered, Jack’s mental state is fragile and hanging by a thread. He’s having a strange, recurring nightmare in which he finds himself in danger. Lurking in the shadows is an unknown woman who simply stands by and watches him suffer. “She just leaves him there. He feels abandoned,” says Vusi.
