13 – 14 JANUARY
Layla shares her important decision with her friend Mielies, Pieter tells Uncle Johnny about the good old days, and Petra lies to get what she wants. Layla goes ahead with her plan, Uncle Johnny and Pieter dress up for Petra’s social seminar, and Beatrice makes a decision with regards to her friendship with Ronel.
18 – 21 JANUARY
Petra is concerned about Hein telling Ronel about the seminar, Mielies finds an anxious Layla hiding in the bathroom, and Angelique confronts Bompie about taking responsibility. Mielies has a huge favour to ask of Elsa and Fred, Petra is desperate to stop Hein, and Layla has one final step to take before starting her new life’s journey. The conflict between Petra and Hein reaches a boiling point, Ronel isn’t sure about the temporary peace between her and Beatrice, and Daniel is uncomfortable with Saartjie’s public displays of affection. There’s tension in the Booysen house, and Aunty Gertie and Johnny’s first anniversary is a disaster.

Eloise gives Aunty Gertie feedback on Beatrice’s book, and Mielies is tense about the state of her relationship with her parents.

Ferhat tried to protect Asli from yet another assassination attempt, but Cuneyt was certain that he could kill Asli. Later, Ferhat’s behaviour made his family believe that he was guilty.
13 – 15 JANUARY
Working together, Asli and Ferhat are able to learn the identity of a young girl, but they need to hurry before something bad can happen to her. Yigit realises that he has got to hand himself over to the police for murder because far more dangerous people were after him, and Ferhat tries to lie to an ally. Ferhat later meets a mysterious figure who’s been hiding in the shadows, and a divorce bombshell leaves a family hurt and confused.
18 – 22 JANUARY
News of Yigit’s arrest and police detention has his family stunned, Namik and Idil are ready to make an announcement to the family, and it seems that Cuneyt has bitten off more than he can chew. Ferhat tells Asli that he loves her, and there’s a shoot-out that leaves Namik bleeding on the floor moments before he was going to get married. The police release Yigit but don’t explain why, and Asli may know who shot her groom Namik, but she isn’t ready to tell anyone who it is. Handan discovers troubling information about Gulsum’s behaviour and recent meetings with someone, and there is more tension in the family home when someone reveals the identity of Gulsum’s son. Later, another fight breaks out when Gulsum is confronted about a decades-old lie.
25 – 26 JANUARY
Ferhat is ready to divorce Asli, much to Asli’s shock and dismay, and Cuneyt wants to prove the truth to Namik, one way or another.
