The 25th anniversary of the switch of Stena Line’s Northern Ireland terminal port from Larne to Belfast was marked on 12 November 2020. From a total of just three ferries operating at that time to a single Scottish port, the company now has seven vessels on year-round services to Cairnryan, Birkenhead and Heysham, with a mix of leisure and freight traffic.
