SIMPLE CONCEPT

Krotos Simple Concept is a cut-down, but great-sounding version of the company’s Concept synth, a hugely versatile plugin capable of delivering pretty much any sound you need. Simple Concept features Macro Controls and an Envelope so that you can quickly synthesise new sounds and save them, simply allowing you to get on with the important business of music production.

Simple Concept already comes with more than 80 preset sounds, covering a wide range of bases (and leads, ho ho). Load any one of these up using the simple drop-down menus shown below and three Macro controls in the centre of the UI will be assigned to change different parameters of that sound. These Macros can often change as you load up different presets, but the programmers at Krotos have made sure that they change the dramatic sonics of each preset so you’ll quickly come up with a different take on a sound which you can speedily save.
