I ENJOYED ‘Farming’s brave new world’ (), but feel that the voices of those at the grassroots weren’t heard. My cousins farm about 320 acres by Romney Marsh in Kent. They milk some 60 cows and bull and heifer calves are raised until they are two years old. No feed is bought in —everything is produced on the farm, an example of that buzzword, sustainability, yet their farm is an endangered species. Ask my
