CHEFFINS SELLS £48 MILLION-WORTH OF MACHINERY
Cheffins, which conducts the largest monthly sale of tractors and agricultural machinery in the world, sold more than £48 million-worth of used agricultural machinery throughout 2020, across 11 monthly collective auctions, on-site auctions and vintage sales, despite Covid-19 and Brexit.
The company sold more than 4,500 tractors and plant items throughout 2020 at its monthly Cambridge Machinery Auctions, with sales to more than 30 countries worldwide, amounting to an enormous £35m.
Highlights of the Cambridge Machinery Sales in 2020 include a 2016 JCB 4220 Fastrac, 25-year limited edition, with 6,207 hours, that sold for a thumping £75,000! This was followed by a 2017 Case CVX 185 at £69,000 and a 2016 Case Magnum CVX 340 with 4,250 hours, which made £68,000.
