    IT IS 4am. I wake up instinctively without an alarm, my heart already filled with joy for what lies ahead. I bath and get dressed excitedly in a punjabi. My favourite, multicoloured cotton sari was ironed the night before and it will be worn once I am done in the kitchen. I light a few incense sticks to purify the air and set the tone for the day.
