I watched my wee daughter’s eyes light up as she pointed to a pink teddy bear with a sparkling tiara.
Hollie, three, had been watching YouTube videos of the teddies in the Build-a-Bear workshop, so we’d promised her and her big sister Chelsea, seven, a trip to the store in Belfast as a treat.
She was so excited. The staff helped her create her own bear, choosing a glittery pink dress and shoes. She gave a tiny red heart a kiss before it was stitched into the toy’s chest.
