LYME REGIS CLUB CENTENARY

“Looking forward to the next hundred years, while we celebrate the past,” was the message from the Commodore of Lyme Regis Sailing Club, Rob Wiscombe, on the anniversary of its first meeting.

The inaugural gathering was held on 8 January 1921 at Belmont, Pound Street, then the home of Dr HJ Cooper. Early members included Rob’s grandfather Joe Wiscombe.
