In Time was the album that launched

Amirali’s career. Described as ‘weird and groovy, effortlessly blurring the line of techno, disco, funk and electronica’, it won him fans in the highest circles of dance music and enabled him to tour nonstop across the globe… which explains why it’s taken nearly a decade to deliver the follow up. That and the producer’s incredibly high standards. “I release maybe a 20th of what I produce…”

1 Tell us about your background?

“I was born and raised in Iran, and moved to Canada when I was 15, but I’m currently based in London. I’ve been into music my whole life; playing the piano since I was five with several piano tutors over the years and played classical pieces. I was always into making music even before getting my head into electronic music.
