thought your Pick Your Path feature [December 14] was excellent and turning the pages backwards and forwards in a slightly bewildering way mirrored to a very small extent the way in which many people have to navigate various bureaucratic systems. Lavinia’s life was of course extremely hard, and it was heartwarming to read that she has so successfully overcome her difficulties.
