ME NO SAVVY

The title comes from Charlie Chan when he was perplexed in all those movies of long ago. I wrote in C&VC June 2020 issue about the tie-up between MAN and SAVIEM and even showed an example of the result in mid-1970s Britain. Considering that in 1964 SAVIEM claimed to have the largest range in the European market, I have to admit that my knowledge of it was decidedly hazy. However, I’ve had time to delve a bit so can now risk saying I’m savvy, which gives me the excuse to write this laboured and not very precise anagram of SAVIEM!

Of course, the letters are themselves an acronym of Soc Anon
