Celebrating Chocolate

Chocolate is one of the most loved food stuffs on the globe. A 2019 survey by MoneySavingHeroes (moneysavingheroes.co.uk) found that the average Brit spends around £325 on chocolate every year, and almost half of those surveyed said they eat chocolate at least once a day.

But what makes chocolate so special, and why do we love it so much? It’s all to do with what’s in it, and the effect on our bodies when we eat it.
