The streets of Hillside have long been a place where the young and funky bunch can learn life lessons but also have fun developing as people. The COVID-19 global pandemic has meant staying cooped up at home thanks to lockdown for over a year, so it’s time for 7de Laan’s fun younger group to have an adventure. Since the start of 2021, the gang – Gabby (Blyde Smith), Khethiwe (Sesethu Ntombela), Ludo (Rubin Wissing), Nozi (Dimpho More), Romeo (Clint Aplon), Shady (Beáta Bena Green) and Tjattas (Rik-us Strauss) – had a shared New Year’s resolution, says Clint:
