High-water Marc

The 2021 MotoGP campaign has begun and like a Phoenix from the ashes we see that Marc Marquez has emerged from rehabilitation in an attempt to take back his lost title. My question is where does his motivation come from? Already a multi-time world champion, richer than he ever dreamed of and also beaten to hell at the age of 29.

Time will tell if his physical ailments have properly healed, but my concern is his mental state after months of doubt over his future and behind-the-scenes healing.

What must have been going through his mind when he was sitting at home all those months must have been very tough, even for him. Maybe even tougher than the injury itself. Yet here he is back again to have another crack – but why?
