‘My stutter is part of who I am’
Bisi Osundeko, 39, lives in St Helens with her husband and children. She is a councillor and founder of Joy and Joe, a business specialising in baby sling carriers.
As I stood on stage at the Labour Party Conference in 2019, ready to speak to my biggest audience yet, there were no nerves, no sweaty palms. As I looked out on the room’s 6,500 guests, I realised just how far I had come.
