Western Australian radio listeners with the slightest interest in gardening will know who Sabrina Hahn is. A horticultural journalist and consultant, urban forest planner, landscape designer, tour guide and podcaster, she’s been a presenter on ABC Radio Perth for the best part of 30 years.
It’s not just her passion but her playful, irreverent style that keeps listeners tuning in and it soon emerges when we ask her what sets her suburban block apart from those of her neighbours.
“Well, I’ve got bloody trees for a start,” she laughs. “Sometimes I feel like I’m in a moonscape.”
