EL GOUNA

ON THE WATER

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced kitesurfer, El Gouna, with its glorious sunshine, clear blue waters and constant wind, offers amazing flat water conditions for fast improvements in your riding. This has been the stage for many international freestyle competitions over the years, chosen specifically for its regular winds, gently shelving beach and large expanse of shallow water. There are deeper sections further out where ramps form for jumping and there are several kite centres around El Gouna, most of which are within walking distance or short tuk-tuk ride from the town (there are no cars in El Gouna).

There are three key kite spots with wind from the right and plenty of space for everyone out on the water. Just north of town
