He begins playing for his new side Bath this month, but rugby union star Danny Cipriani has joined an even more exclusive club after marrying fiancée Victoria Rose O’Callaghan.
The couple tied the knot in a low-key ceremony, with the former England international sharing the news with fans on social media.
“Officially Mrs Cipriani… married my best friend today!!” he wrote, posting two photos: one showing the newlyweds amid a shower of confetti (left) and the other clearly showing 39-year-old Victoria’s wedding and engagement rings as she kisses her new husband on the cheek (right).
Sharing the same images, Victoria, a mother of two children from previous relationships, let fans into further details about the ceremony. “Today we officially became Mr & Mrs Cipriani in a small intimate setting with our nearest and dearest,” she wrote, adding that they have plans for a “big day Caribbean style” when travel is permitted. “Our adventure begins,” she wrote.
