You can build multiple trees on Findmypast with different privacy settings, and the website has created a helpful beginners’ guide for members

Findmypast’s ‘Build Your Family Tree’ tool is available from the homepage,. The site allows you to create or import multiple trees, which can be public or private. You can view a vertical or horizontal chart, a ‘Family View’ showing a basic chart for an individual, spouse, parents and children, and a ‘Profile’ page for a specific individual.
