MARK EDWARDS’ most successful partner to date, Montreuxs Tale, continued where he left off when he took the grand prix with nearly two seconds to spare on his first proper return to the circuit this year.

The rangey 11-year-old home-bred, owned by Mark’s father Martyn, made the most of his size and power to cut a stride on the run to the last, stealing an easy lead from Lance Whitehouse and the 16-year-old Alex H.
