Clearing the air

ommunicating science’s intricacies and complexities to the public has rapidly become a science of its own. But these are times when it is an imperative, especially when discussing the highly involved question of climate change. Fortunately, New Zealander Dave Lowe, atmospheric chemist and co-author of a (VUP, $40). This is a highly readable, admirably lucid and, dare I say, entertaining account of one scientist’s search for clues and possible solutions.
