ou could say that Chloë Amy Avery is the Chuck Close of the embroidery world. Or maybe the Andy Warhol. The London-based artist is known for her hand-embroidered hyper-realistic impressionism, as well as her studies in thread of popular foods, from newspaper-wrapped fish and chips to a Tunnock’s teacake.
