These are the words you’d describe Kaushik Velendra, the Indian-born London-based designer who is reinventing everything you know about tailoring and power dressing. He opens his studio, mind and design process to GAY TIMES, letting us into the personal motivations behind his structurally striking creations. It’s clear from becoming the first Indian-born student to graduate from the prestigious MA Fashion program at Central Saint Martin’s in 2019, and being shortlisted for the LVMH Prize in 2020, the world is Velendra’s oyster.
