Performance VW: Is writing your full-time job, or just something you do for fun and a bit of extra cash on the side?
Tony Matthews: It’s very much a major part of our daily work, as we run a number of different automotive media brands so we research, network, write, photograph, design and also do the marketing. It is super important to know how to write creatively in life and not just for articles.
PVW: When and how did you get into writing in the first place? Did you study, or blag it?
Well, I was into the car culture since I could drive and loved going to cruises and shows. Then as I got more into it, I got to organise cruises, car show displays, getting my car into Max Power Magazine, to then ending up in the South of France (where part of my family is from), where I got to help Fast Car
