THE CORRECT OUTLINE
I WAS delighted to read Richard Davison’s assessment of Gigolo in “Legends of the sport” (27 May). He admired his frame being uphill, nose in front, taking the bit and the poll the highest point.
Today, it’s all too rare to see a horse in such a correct outline. It appears to be the norm to ride a horse overbent.
