We shall see, is what is normally the response given in these circumstances. But what is undisputedly certain is that year after year these words are becoming increasingly realistic and very much in line with “doable” eco friendly sustainable plans. The European Commission is aiming to cancel toxic carbon emissions by 2050. An important document entitled “A hydrogen strategy for a climate-neutral Europe backs this up. This plan gathers much of the data expressly wanted by UE commissioner Mrs. Ursula Von Der Leyen, by Kadri Simson from Estonia who’s a main pillar for Europe’s green deal whose scope is twofold. First and foremost to expand the use of hydrogen in substitution of fossil fuels and secondly to decrease carbon dioxide production. This is the first time Europe will be investing in hydrogen and is expected to reach the scheduled green deal goals which are equal to a 50-55% reduction in toxic emissions by 2030 with a view to obtain as already mentioned a 100% reduction by 2050. In fact Europe is working towards 6 Giga watts and one million tons of green hydrogen by 2024 ( today we’re topping one Gw). The subsequent bench mark after 2024 has been set for 2030 with 40 Giga watts for 10 million tons of hydrogen. This plan will be funded mostly by UE member states that are currently involved for the most part in all industrial sectors, ranging from the steel and chemical industry to transportation on wheels as well as in airplanes and ships.
Nobody is excluded from this revolution! But then why has this aspect been addressed only at
