For Kitt, the act of getting tattoos is a way to reclaim their ancestral knowledge and traditions and take their pain into their own hands, giving them the power to control the outcome.

    Each year, Pride Month is a time to celebrate the achievements made in the fight for LGBTQ equality and remember the work that still needs to be done for equal rights and protections.
