Lapislazuli rocks the house to win

EVEN the most consistent of pairs were faulting around a tough pony showjumper track that produced no double clears, with Elissa Herrmann and Lapislazuli’s four-fault jump-off performance securing the top ticket.

From 30 starters, only two combinations made the second round: Elissa and her mother Edwina’s 11-year-old dun gelding and Noora von Bulow with the 10-year-old Capability Brown.
