COSMETIC changes

Let me set the record straight. The prospect of undergoing cosmetic surgery has always filled me with misgivings.

Two reasons. First of all, I’m terrified of needles. Secondly, is it right to tamper with nature in trying to regain our youthful looks?

My husband, Dermot, takes the opposite viewpoint. He reckons when you hit middle age, it’s not so much tampering as enhancing nature.
