Shuffling up the hospital bed, I pulled my top up and felt a squidgy lump of cold jelly land on me.
‘Sorry,’ the sonographer said with a smile.
‘No problem!’ I giggled. This was a momentous day: my 20-week scan.
My friend, Sinead, and I headed in to find out the baby’s sex while my husband Rohan stayed home so it would be a surprise for him.
