You might remember Octane’s recent story on the Chrysler Turbine (issue 217), of which there are only two in private hands. I consider it to be one of the seminal cars of the post-war era. It was a car I lusted after, seeing it at the World’s Fair in New York back in 1964. I finally got to drive one about 25 years ago at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit.

A friend of mine named Frank Kleptz managed to buy one from the big Harrah’s auction back
