To Sept 7 – this major solo exhibition by Perth artist presents three significant bodies of work across video, installation and works on paper. At the centre of is epic 10-channel video installation , shown in its entirety for the first time. Experienced from within a vast circle of screens, the work draws viewers into sublime, frozen landscapes, which were filmed in locations from Sierre in Switzerland to Greenland’s ice sheet. Also, presents Ukrainian-born, Melbourne-based artist first WA exhibition of her conceptual poetics and engagement with sites of global conflict. practice speaks to personal and collective experiences of cultural displacement while wrestling with history and the material and immaterial costs of conflict.
